I spent some time looking at Tiki house stuff online during my lunch break.

I bought these http://tikizone.stores.yahoo.net/hafltwtipelu.html - I'm going to make curtain tiebacks with ribbon I have at home and tie these on and see what they look like. If they are silly no big deal, its only costing $5.

I bought these coasters http://www.atomic-tiki.com/html/cartitems/shag/CocktailCoasterset.htm to replace the black rubber ones we have that the bunnies have chewed on.

Bamboo blinds don't seem all that expensive after all at Target. I like these ones because they have different shades of brown in them. I need to measure our actual windows. What's up there now are the cheapest white vinyl blinds money could buy at Home Depot - they cover the windows but don't necessarily line up with them. When we were moving in we didn't have a lot of cash to spend and were looking for functional. Now we can have some fun. :)

I'm hitting Target after work tonight. I'm also hoping to find a couple of nice end tables to replace the two stool/tables we have in there now http://www.marmontianderson.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=6. We got them to double as seating, but putting drinks on them is tough given the smooshyness of them. If we need extra seating we can bring them up from the basement. I'm hoping the seasonal section will have something good.

RE TikiBarTV.com, I started watching it at work but its just too silly to watch here (even on my lunch break). I'm going to try from home at some point. :)

Those look exactly like the ones we have in our back-porch. They are really nice and lend a nice "golden glow" to the room when the sun shines against them. I think we got ours in K-Mart..... Either way - Good Choice *thumbs up* .. Can't wait to see the finished room in all it's Tiki Goodness :)

i have four issues of tiki magazine at home that you guys can peruse if we see youse at some point in the near future. i suppose i could also mail them to you if you're interested... less likely to be mailed is "the book of tiki," but you can chek that out at any b&n or borders.

also, check out "atomic ranch" magazine at borders.
