At the end of September, we're taking a road trip to Virginia. We reserved a timeshare in McGaheysville, VA, from 9/26 to 10/3. It's a one bedroom that sleeps 4. It's a little over 2 hours from Washington, DC, in the Shenandoah Valley. We'd likely stop in places on the way down and up. Possibilities would be NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and DC (we'll definitely do DC because we love the zoo). We only paid $160 for the entire week (and didn't have to trade our week for it), so even if we didn't stay the whole time, it'd be worth it. The resort itself is fairly remote, but it's big with tons of activities. You can find info here:
So if you're interested in visiting VA and doing a road trip to other cities as well, let us know. We'd just share the cost of any hotels we stayed at on the way down or back.
