hey. just wanted to let you know that my friends stacy and chris have a diabetic cat that they give shots to twice a day. when they lived w/other roommates, they taught them how to give the shots so if/when they went away they could administer the insulin. they also have a name of a cat sitter woman who's a vet intern at their vet's office in watertown if you want/need to go out of town.

iirc,she (the catsitter) is very responsible and if something goes astray, will have the sense to take the cat to the vet. stacy's cat is a very very very moody/bitchy siamese and seems to have acclimated to getting the shots very well - guess she realises what a difference they've made in her health!

if you want, i could ask her if she'd talk to you about her feline diabetes experience. (she - stacy - is totally cat crazy.)

Thank you SO much! I'd really like the cat sitter's info and your friend Stacy's contact info (perhaps e-mail, if she has it). I know lots of people encorporate this into their lives, the thought of it is just vry overwhelming right now.
