I'm hungry

I haven't been eating a balanced diet lately - not that I'm eating CRAP, I'm just not getting enough fruits, veggies and water. The thought of my morning grapefruit was painful (I have a couple of canker sores, bit my lip last week a couple of times) so I decided to get a grumbly tummy before lunch instead (noon just can't come fast enough).
Class last night was cool, we watched the second half of a movie that was on PBS a while ago about the current state of health care costs. It was filmed at Beth Israel and it was neat so see some of my old haunts from Simmons days (Longwood Galleria, Kenmore Square, Brookline Ave) in the filming. They even mentioned my company a few times and interviewed our Chief Medical Officer for his opinion of Caregroup's current financial woes. It was interesting - I keep ending up being called on in class to answer questions that my professor has of things just because of where I work and because of the information that I'm privy to.
I got an A on my first paper! I'm thinking I should do well in this class (let's see how I'll handle two of them - one of which being statistics - in the fall).

My husband impulse bought another rabbit! I'm happy about it but shocked all the same! I remember a day when he told me that bunnies were lame and he didn't understand my fascination in them :) His name is "Batty", since he's black and though he's a lop has his ears up with excitement most of the time (like bat wings). We're going to wait a few weeks and keep the buns separate before putting he and Praline together - that way she'll be able to adapt to being without Flopsy and he'll be able to adapt to living with us. He's neutered already and he's only a couple of months older than her so they should be able to live together for a long time . . .

We did some more house drive-bys last night, this time in Malden and Medford - and found one house that we're interested in seeing the inside (its right near Reveeeah, dude)! Its a bit higher in cost than the ones in Framingham but would be way closer to B's work and way easier to hit the T (though the two in Framingham are a 5 minute walk from the commuter rail). We're checking out the two in Framingham on Saturday morning (you can see outside pictures here http://www.diabolis.net/~bunicula/images/house5/ and here http://www.diabolis.net/~bunicula/images/house4/ ). This is the fun part of the process . . . the hard work will start AFTER we get an offer accepted. So now Saturday just has to hurry up and get here!
We didn't make it to VNV Nation last night (figured sleep would be a good thing as well as saving the $40 for tix) so I'd like to get out to goffee and see friends tonight. We're also having dinner with Friends on Sunday and hitting Man Ray and a party (I think) on Saturday - and I really hope to get some beach time in (is any one interested in meeting for dinner and skeeball at Hampton Beach tomorrow night - meeting in NH around 8:00 or 8:30?).
Whew!
