A shiny new Hedwig (she looks amazing)!
A buyer for my Gram's house (inspection is Sunday, closing 12/22)!
Seeing the Tax Goddess (and being treated to an awesome Indian dinner)!
Its Friday and a quiet, catch-up kind of day at work (a lot of folks are out)!
Friends at Megafest this weekend!

My cold is still here so I'm staying in tonight, but its not getting any worse at least. We're picking up our Thanksgiving turkey from our CSA farm this coming Sunday (killed on Saturday). This should be interesting, and probably the biggest bird we've ever cooked. Its a good thing that our dinner is pushed to later this year. :)

Hey, I told my co-worker Anthony to keep an eye out for 501st peeps at Super Megafest. (found out yesterday that he's going, he is a big movie buff)

So, if a big, goofy dude named Anthony tells you he knows me...he does. ;)

Tell him we're collecting for Toys for Tots! The rebels will be in the front lobby with the landspeeder (collecting toys) and the imperials will be in an area just downstairs of one of the main con doors with the dewback (asking for donations for The Jimmy Fund in exchange for getting pictures with dewy).

Our tax goddess is Tiamatlady in LJ (so you can poke her yourself). She is leaving for the UK for a week tomorrow, but I know she'll be looking for some work she's back. :)
