We hop on a plane for NOLA tomorrow for the wedding. Brian will have his iPhone and presumably his laptop so we'll have connectivity, I just don't anticipate a ton of time sitting online. We'll be back with lots of pictures and experiences to share, I'm sure!

Cost is actually part of what dissuades me from ever wanting kids. ;) (Not to say that I discourage others from doing so, and money is hardly my only motivation, but it is one I like to bring up jokingly because for some reason, that is the only one that people DON'T try to argue me out of, even though I feel that it is the shallowest. Oh well.)

Having L hasn't made us decrease our retirement savings, we're still putting in 10%. We are putting aside more savings for his 529, but I'll note that Fin Aid programs don't count retirement assets (401ks etc) when figuring out need.
