Weekend

We did make it to Darq. It was fun to see folks and the music was great, but the setting of the night was odd (sitting at tables in the middle of a Thai restaurant, feeling bad for not ordering food but there wasn't anywhere else to put ourselves). Proof of our gothing can be found here:

We slept late, saw zombies http://www.flickr.com/photos/tk7602/, visited the family for Easter and got home with a bit of time to get the rest of our weekend responsibilities finished. It was a good one, but I feel like I could sleep for weeks. :)

The first night was like that, tables in the middle, I was sitting right next to the dance "floor" and had to lean out of the way when the few people danced. And with added sound problems that had me not recognizing Siouxsie for a good 2 minutes - it sounded like bad German static stomp.

Still not sure it was/is worth the ride all the way up there, unless we're going to get SO TANKED on Scorpion bowls. I had this one pineapple thing that was teh awesome tho. *grins*

I need a good dance night like whoa. Somewhere I have room to move if the mood takes me, music that puts the mood IN me (heheehehe) and some nice company to hang with.
