This is one of my favorite taxpayer perks (in addition to just living where we live and the low taxes we get as a result of all of the commercial property), seriously.

wish they did it in Arlington, especially since I'm betting our taxes might be higher than Waltham's. I either do it myself, or sometimes pay someone to come and do it. (They do come with those big rotating brush machines and "sweep" whatever is along the curbsides off, mostly to keep the storm drain grills uncovered. But that doesn't touch what's on the public streets.)
