dancerjodiWe hop on a bus in less than an hour to go to the Watertown office for our company summer party. Since its going to be rainy today and tomorrow (which was the rain date) its been moved from the nearby park to the building.
We'll have food and a dunk tank (pay $1 for the Breast Cancer walk and dunk your favorite executive) on the first floor of the parking garage, there will be snack food, mini golf, karaoke and other games inside.
Its a beach/tropical theme and I'm dressed in probably the most tropical thing I own - some jeans with a lilac colored t-shirt that has dark purple velveteen flowers across the neckline. My co-worker M of course has a Hawaiian shirt with her hair in pigtails and a probably pair of 'Jams' (remember those?) that she saved from the 80's in her bag in case it gets warmer :)
The last time I did karaoke was at the College Fest at the Hines in my Freshman year at Simmons and a bunch of my friends and I sang "I will Survive" together . . . I wonder what gems M and I will find to sing together :)
