Here are some pictures from the house - some were before construction, some were during. Some are just plain silly. There are sections that don't have pictures yet but we'll get there (more likely to get there faster now that we have an internet connection to upload pictures with and some electricity to plug the computers into).

great house!
Date: 2002-07-12 10:01 am (UTC)So, when you house was listed, what type of house did they call it? It's looks a bit Victorian, but I can't figure out what people mean by "New Englander".
Ooohh
Date: 2002-07-15 04:58 am (UTC)I'll need to hit the one in September. Were you planning on going? Have you gone before?
Re: great house!
Date: 2002-07-15 05:01 am (UTC)The projects are getting less messy . . . we're getting to the end of plaster in most of the rooms and then can prime and paint (wheee). I can't wait to unpack things :/

Its a Colonial (though I'm not sure what type - it doesn't fit any of the traditional styles you see around here most of the time i.e. garrison, greek revival, etc). A Victorian would be more ornate and would have more 'roundness' to it.
In all of the house listings we looked at I don't remember seeing any categorized as "new englander". Mostly were Colonials, Capes, Bungalows, Victorians (though they were limited), Ranch's and Split-levels.
Oh yeah, and Tudors *drool*
