dancerjodiI've been given a new computer at work since mine was old and clunky. We are so not with the times here! We're running office 2003, an old version of Winzip that won't unzip files we receive from outside organizations (I had to purchase my own a while back in the newest version and needed to reinstall that license), and I'm currently installing 61 (61!) windows security updates that were required for the computer. I discovered this when I opened an MS Access Database to get a security error about some saftety feature or another not being installed. Heh!
We had a nice weekend. Brian had been fighting a cold since early last week so we stuck around the house on Friday and caught up with Game of Thrones. We finally got our back patio area cleared and planted on Saturday morning before going to a birthday party in Haverhill, and we hosted a Father's Day cookout after doing and hanging outside 3 loads of laundry, and mowing the lawn. We were super beat last night and had to cancel our dinner plans out on the South Shore, in exchange for Chateau and an early bedtime.
I'm looking forward to this summer. On Friday we're having dinner at Kowloon and then heading over to Maddy's in Saugus to see KissNation (use the intorweb for details on the show if you'd like to join us there). We'll see a good friend get married on Saturday to someone who is a perfect, perfect match and then we'll hit Can't Stop the Serenity (for once it's not the same night as my dance recital). Weather-willing we'll make our first trip to Hampton next Sunday with James. Rain doesn't bother me - it will need to be extremely bad to cancel this trip! I'm still sad about the fire at the Happy Hampton/Mrs Mitchell's/Surf Hotel. Seeing the parking lot that stands in its place just kills me every time. I will drown my sorrows in Boardwalk Fries, Fried Dough, Skee Ball, people watching and sand between my toes.
