Getting over our colds
Getting more confident going out with the babe
Pedi appt today - wondering what she'll say about Mina's slow weight gain
She's 5 weeks today - where did the time go?
Need to file taxes but rarely get that much time with my laptop
Also need to pump more to build up a supply, but can't manage when it's just she and I

i don't know how you do it without help. i'm so grateful my dad can come over when kami isn't here. are you able to put mina down at all? we have to constantly carry inara. even at night. she refuses to sleep anywhere but on our chests.

Putting her down during the day: not too much. Swaddling helps sometimes, sometimes her swing, sometimes in her sling. When we go out it's right after I feed her. She'll usually sleep in the car or stroller. I'm also planning the trips strategically (trying to plan where can I feed and change her).

Don't worry about slow weight gain if you're BF'ing. It's totally normal for breastfed babies to be smaller. Your body is providing everything she needs - that's how it's designed to work. I hope this is what the doctor said too!

I don't miss pumping. I think those of us who do it should all get a girl scout badge for it. Pump-master.
