I remember watching their TV show as a kid. I didn't know that they played at Woodstock (before Hendrix) or that they had a tie to Massachusetts.

LOVE Sha-Na-Na! Watched the show, listened to their records. It was a Friday night tradition in our household, my brother and I used to run and jump at the TV at the end like they did. "Tell Laura I Love Her," is one of my favorite cover of theirs.

I was just singing, "If a boy can do it, a girl can do, you can do anything you wanna do!" last night. It was from one of their many teaching commercials aimed at kids during PBS type shows. :)

I did know abou the MA ties. Probably because I'm a geek for Grease.
