Manray Reunion

Are any of you folks (that haven't mentioned it already) planning on going to this Manray reunion on 2/1? We are wondering if it is worth it. On a Friday night. In Allston. Through Ticketmaster.

What happened was, it got so big that more people said they would go than TTs could hold, and the original poster, who wanted to see some friends, got overwhelmed with the scale.

So the original invite got postponed for an "official" reunion date, once a big enough venue/time to organize could be found, which is this Feb.

What made it cliquey was then a separate unofficial invite then went out to a smaller group, for the original June date, with a "come 2 hours early so we can hang" pre-club opening mixer, followed by dancing at TTs for whomever.

I get why it happened, but I also get that it came across really clumsy and not very nice.

In any case, I'm just kind of over MR reunions—not that I don't like to see people or dance to swirly stuff, just that I'm bored with the nostalgia which has been going on for close to a decade. (!) Life has become much more enriching and interesting since then to look back all the time.
