One year ago

This time last year I was at home, in labor. I had been in labor since the night before and the contractions would come and go. I wouldn't give birth until the next day around noon, so it was an interesting and tiring couple of days. I spent the day trying to clean things up at home and organize, and walked down to the nail place down the street for a mani-pedi. The second night things would get more intense. I called my midwife at 11PM that night, then 3:00 AM the next day, and we headed to the hospital. We arrived around 4 AM (it was snowing) and Mina was born by 12:30 or so. I forget the actual, official time (need to check her baby book).

Such an amazing, awesome, wild ride!
