based on the reading i've done and from what i've been told, i belive this is all normal. we've been dealing with this with inara for a few weeks now to the point where my hubby is sleeping on the futon because inara has kicked him out to be wiht me. it may be part of separation anxiety but i think she just has a lot going on. i belive at this age there's a huge cognitive shift and their mind starts to realize the bigger world. so when they wake up at night time they freak because they literally do not know where they are and if they are dreaming or awake. we had a talk with inara recently and we basically pieced together that while she does not think she's a baby, she doesn't think she's a big girl and my gut instinct is that while they're eager to move forward and be more independent, it scares them. perhaps the new bedtime routine is a bit anxiety provoking for mina? i have found that extra cuddle time at night with the lights dimmed has been really helpful in not getting inara agitated. and reassuring her that she's always my little baby and she doesn't need to grow any faster than she needs to also seems to help.

i have been sick or at work and haven't been able to get my butt to the Y but going to go today and get us signed up!
