It could be something you don't even think about...this happened to me earlier in the year. I was getting sporadic intense rashes all over my face, arms and neck/chest. I tried eliminating standard shampoos/conditioners and skin products and replacing with all organic paraben-free stuff. That seemed to help, but I eventually realized it was an allergy to aspartame. I used to drink a lot of powdered sugar-free Kool-Aid and Crystal Light packets in my water. I had at least one of those packets a day. I must have become intolerant to aspartame. As soon as I cut it out completely, the rashes went away. So for me I think it was a combination of the shampoo products (an allergy test I had several years ago revealed intense allergies to chemicals and fragrances) and the aspartame. Look around and consider what you eat as well as drink on a daily basis. I can no longer wear perfumes, or anything scented, sadly, but cutting out aspartame and all those other nasties is surely for the best regardless of my allergies to them. Yay for us sensitive skin folk!
