dancerjodiOriginally B and I had taken today off to pick up Gaelen at the airport but he surprised us all and came back from St. John early. So we had the day free to frolic and be schmoopy together :)
But B is at some MS Exchange training course a couple of towns over. According to his teacher they should be let out around noon or earlier so the day isn't a total loss. Our original plan was to go to http://www.edwardgoreyhouse.org/ on the Cape. I think I still want to take the drive and do it. And perhaps explore around there a bit. My family always vacationed in NH (either Hampton or the White Mountains) so my experience on the Cap is limited. I went to Provincetown for the first time last summer for a camping weekend and that was wild!
And I'm pondering going to see these guys in JP tonight http://www.dresdendolls.com thanks to reading about it in Rydia's jounal. I've wanted to see them for a long time since I love burlesque and cabaret style performance - lets see if I can convince B to go :)
Tomorrow we'll be going to my Dad's exhibit in NH and perhaps checking out Purgatory Falls (there's a brief description of the area here http://www.mv.com/ipusers/mvd/montvernon.html). We'll conclude the evening with a Netgoth party and group trip to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sunday will be homework, more mini-house repairs and THE SEASON OPENER OF SOPRANOS!

I hope that this schedule doesn't lead what's starting as a sore throat to turn into a cold. That would make me sad! And now I'm off to shower and eat breakfast before B gets home. Wheee!

Date: 2002-09-13 08:12 am (UTC)I hope you're feeling better today *gentle hugs* I think the food allergy may be a good route to check out - things CAN make you very sick if you're allergic (and then its fairly easy to prevent later). I guess it may be worth a try . . .

Much relieved it's Micha's thing...can you believe M and I are going to another cookout at 2:00? Must...pace..the...burger..and...beer...consumption.
That's also why we can't make it to your dad's exhibition
