Yeah, so I suck

I did homework for 1/2 the day today (while taking small breaks to switch the laundry over every hour or so) and then B and I went to a pumpkin carving party, a quick burrito dinner at Anna's and then to Substance at the Middle East.
And I've been so bad balancing time since I was laid off that I had to leave during the 2nd band to come home and work on the paper I have due tomorrow. Yes, I suck. You'd think that someone who doesn't have to go to work 40+ hours a week now would have had the paper done EARLY, never mind at the last minute. This is totally unlike me.
But the Tiggerette sounded so pretty and the start of Scissorkiss sounded lovely as always, too.
I just wish I didn't feel like such a god-damned lame-o
Well it is mid-terms and all; I have a paper due tomorrow and one due this Friday (so much for having some fun time this week - I thought I'd be able to pull it off since my scheduled interviews aren't till next week).
The dancer needs to do something frivolous and fun while still getting homework stuff done, or else she's going to go downhill . . . must - keep - going
