I remembered to bring CDs today. I brought two of my 10,000 Maniacs Albums, a Loreena McKennitt album (To Drive the Cold Winter Away) and a Christmas Comp album that has Delerium, Medieval Babes and Sara McLachlan on it. So its a day for singing women.
I finally got off my butt and made a donation to WBUR and made the donations to The American Cancer Society. I must say that this internet thing and on-line ordering has made my life easier this year. I guess living right down the street from a whole bunch of stores helps too ("honey, I'm just going to run down to Barnes and Noble, I'll be home in a 1/2 hour").
And later after getting some work done I need to schedule:
-An oil change at Saturn
-An appointment for Max at the vet to do another Blood Glucose curve. This time we'll need to drop him in the morning and pick him up at the end of the day. With the new job, I can't really get time off to stay home with my cat unless its an emergency.
-Give my friend Melanie a call and see how she's doing. I haven't talked to her in person since 2 weeks after I was laid-off.
Phew, I like having productive days every once in a while. Tonight I'm hoping to finish (that's right, finish) one of my papers and then I'll only have one more to suffer through before finishing up this semester's work.
So, what kind of music do YOU like to listen to at work to remain relaxed and/or productive?

Date: 2002-12-10 07:59 am (UTC)Nope. We forgot the instructions for our rice cooker at Alli's place the night of the pot luck :)
"I think we will be around this weekend, but let us know which day you are coming. Will you be at M's party on Saturday night?"
Yes, we'll be at the pah-tay. I'll bring the thing there and perhaps at some point one of you can sneak out and stick the thing (and its candle holders) in your car :)
