It gets really hot in my office, being an old building and all (I think it used to be housing for traveling nurses at the hospital years ago). So I end up with my windows open.
Today I heard music from the church down the street for the first time. I think it must be the Catholic one on Rt. 60. BELLS! There was music this morning, and they just chimed out the one that goes "Sing a new song onto the Lord, Let your song be sung to Mountains High". That's just really odd, I don't think I've ever heard random church bells at noon on a Friday.
For all the bigotry, patriarchy and anti-gay sentiments/practices in the organization of the Catholic Church, I really miss being *in* church sometimes (especially around Christmas or Easter). I've had so many conflicting thoughts about it this holiday season (and the whole Boston Archdiocese scandal just makes it even more confusing).

Um,
Date: 2002-12-20 10:10 am (UTC)There isn't a Walgreens in sight from it (its right over the Medford Line - at the bottom of the hill the hospital is on, if that helps).
One of these days I'll figure out where things are. Its at the bottom of one of the Fellsways (but I can't remember if its East, or West) - it seems like the "Fellsway" is all over the place in this area :)
