We have such wonderful friends. It was really nice talking and chilling with people both Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. I am so fortunate to know so many wonderful and interesting (and sexy) people :)

My nephew kicks ass, he is such a cutie. I spent today with him (and I'll be babysitting him tomorrow and Friday too). My sister told me that he woke up at 5:00 AM all excited asking "Is Auntie Here?" because he was so looking forward to it. We went to my work holiday party and he was an angel.

And almost all of my co-workers got me gifts! I've only been there a month and a week and they bought me gifts! I didn't think they would (so I didn't plan on doing it). I'll probably bring something in when I return from vacation.

Gram rocks too. I walked down to visit her after watching JD before heading home and we talked a bit about her holiday plans. This is the first time in as long as I can remember that she won't be with us for Christmas (she'll be going to my aunt's in Webster). She went "Oh Jodi, thank you so much" when she opened my present - a little stocking with a candle and a card about a donation to The American Cancer Society. Other family members dropped by while I was there to make sure they could see her before she took off for Xmas and they checked out her gazebo. I'm thinking if B is up for it I want to walk down there tomorrow night and take pictures of the thing at night, lit up (on the tripod of course).

And my sweetie is the best. It is so cute to see his face light up all excited about silly presents. And thanks to him, I am now the owner of one of those kick-ass Kitchen-Aid Mixers (in black, of course) with two attachments (a chopper and a meat grinder). Now all I need is a kitchen with space to put it in (soon grasshopper, soon - Dad is in the process of scheduling electricians and plumbers). B also gave me a cute black velour warm up suit set and the Buffy DVD sets (seasons 1 and 2).

Now I'm off to watch him play with his R2-D2 (which he's talking to downstairs now). Freakin' geek!

OOOOH, black kitchen-aid. I hate my fire engine red one but hey, its a kitchen aid. When the new kitchen comes it will be equipped with the chrome version. Yeah!
