Update on the Self Challenge:



I did my strength workout as planned yesterday. That's 1 down, 1 to go. Its short, only 20 minutes. But I like it because its something I can do at home with my dumbbells and it has some good abs exercises too. The point of the Self Challenge is to gradually increase workout time, strength and flexibility. Seeing how I haven't had a buff upper body in a long time, I think starting slow is good.

I don't think I met my nutrition goal for the day (since we went out for Indian for dinner) but that's OK. I'm still feeling really good this week about what I have (and have not) been eating.

Tonight I'm hoping to get in a cardio workout (either at the gym, or, the NYC Ballet workout at home) and I'll do one more either tomorrow or Saturday morning. Then I only need 1 more strength workout, and 1 more stretching workout.



We almost went to Man Ray last night - I've been itching to go for a while. We chose however to hang around by the fire and chat about silly things with friends instead. Perhaps on Friday (if we don't end up having plans with a friend, and, if I can convince B to leave the house). So perhaps some of you will see me out in my corset (I must wear that thing more and break it in).

And I feel SO special. Our friends from http://www.griffingrove.com/ called our house "The Griffin Grove Annex" as I let them in the door for their visit. Now if only people will start paying us to sleep over . . .
