I didn't go to the gym last night but met my fitness goal. I'll be going tonight and will do cardio and my stretching workout.
Our cat was at the vet yesterday because he's been peeing on things again. After tons of tests yesterday (in addition to his regular glucose curve tests) they said he may have a UTI, so I have to pick up antibiotics after work for him. They found no biological reason for his peeing, and said if its not an infection its just behavioral. This is just really odd to me - I mean, he peed ON HIMSELF which is very unlike a cat, and his pee isn't a weird color, and it doesn't smell very strongly of pee either, and his litterbox has been clean (which is why he was peeing on things beforehand - he is REALLY picky about that sort of thing).
Our couch cushions have been on their end for the last couple of days so that he can't sit on them. It just depresses me each time I see it. I'm going to talk to B tonight about possibly putting them down (I did pay a lot of money to have the things Scotchgarded AND for a warranty - so any damage and they will be repaired or replaced for free). We have waterproof mattress covers on our futons and our bed, and rugs are easy to clean. I think those are the only things he could damage permanently - so I think we have all of our bases covered.
We had planned on finishing up drywall in the laundry room last night but after a crappy Sunday night of emergency plumbing and a crappy Monday of sick cat at the vet I thought that we needed a break, so instead we did mounds of laundry and watched more of Buffy Season II.
Today will be a LONG day. After work I need to stop at the vet, then CVS, then the gym, then make us dinner and if we are motivated, to Home Depot to get a bunch of drywall. And its going to be 0 or 5 below (with a wind chill of -25 degrees or so); that's not too conducive to moving heavy piles of drywall.
Whee, fun!

Date: 2003-01-21 08:29 am (UTC)We're on disk 4, I think. We just watched Angel turn evil because they had sex, and they just discovered Oz to be a warewolf. Its getting really good now :)
I'm so excited about these - I had dance class on the night it was on so I always ended up missing some (despite the fact that we tried to tape it each week).
I can't wait to get into the Season III set and see evil Willow, I never saw *that* one either.
Angel season I comes out on February 11 (not sure if you were interested). And Buffy Season IV comes out in June.

Date: 2003-01-21 08:51 am (UTC)I knew about BtVS IV in June, but not about Angel. I haven't watched Angel for a season and a half, though, so I dunno if I'll run right out and grab that.

Date: 2003-01-22 05:06 am (UTC)Nope, they had a dog years ago, but no pets for a while. Plus, we've been in the house 6 months, so it would be odd for him to start peeing (and he's peeing on our stuff, like our futons and the mats on the bathroom floors).
"Why I am asking is he might smell the other cat and is flipping out. Thus peeing on everything. Claiming it as his. Greg cat took over a year to adjust to the new place. I hope that is what it is."
He is old, and does have diabetes (causing him to pee a lot). We've dealt with his behavioral issues before - this was just odd because the pee doesn't smell like pee (its just really watery) and, because he peed on himself too.
We'll see what the antibiotics do, hopefully that's all it is! :)
