Monday Musings
Mar. 3rd, 2003 08:47 amMAN is it cold and windy this morning! I had my car washed at Saturn on Saturday (they do that and vacuum the front floor whenever I take it in to get work, free of charge) and there must of still been moisture stuck in the doors because they were really frozen this morning. I got to the gas station to fill up and it took me a few minutes to get my gas door open. I thought I was going to have to drive home and wait to come to work until it thawed a bit :)
I love chenille sweaters, they totally make my day. I decided to wear my green and blue striped one today and its making me very happy. I think I need to find a chenille dress - i'd be surrounded by soft comfy warmth!
Tonight I'm going to hang around work for a bit before heading to my dance class in Central Square at 6:30. It was weird digging out my zills and veil from the blue rubbermaid bin that all my dance things were stored in in the back corner of our closet.
It reminded me of a more free, happy time where when I was out of work I spent nights dancing or sewing or sitting in bookstore coffeshops with B. I dream of those times again - I envy those that can spend time doing those kinds of things. Still, I think taking 1 dance class a week and making myself be home more on the weekends during the day will allow me to do a bit of it, despite hours spent in homeworkland. Which reminds me, I need to work on my paper tomorrow night after work - don't want to be stuck doing it at the last minute.
I hope you all had a great weekend! Here's to getting through this week quickly and to the next one. I'm so excited, we're going to see Dita von Teese in Brockton (dude) on Friday night ;)
