Yup, its Monday

I decided to put the laptop down and take a break from my paper last night to do some of Wednesday's reading instead. I have one more chapter to get through before then (no big deal) and still have to finish that paper. Since I need to kill time before heading to dancing class tonight I figured I'd just work on it here - so I brought not only clothes, zills, veil and jingly-belt with me but statistics homework too, rock! (not).
I've been all medicine-heady all morning, which is no fun at all. This weekend we petsat for a male bun that hasn't been neutered yet. BOY did my allergies flare up on our two trips to check in on him and feed him, I just can't deal with the smell that results from their spraying. I've been drinking tea and taking cold meds to keep allergy symptoms in check and try to prevent getting a real cold (usually, when my asthma flares up and I'm all congested in my chest I get a cold). Random related observance, since we moved I haven't had any, really. The humidity from the steam heat does wonders for me (where our apartment had dry electric heat).
I suck, I still haven't put in any serious time working on that blue dress that I'm sewing. Each Sunday I plan to do it and then something else comes up. Who knows - perhaps over "spring break" on that whoppin' one night off from class?
OK, you must forgive my rambling. I'm having one of those tired, overworked moments where I just want a vacation :)

Oh, and Perseus mentioned you may need help sewing stuff eventually for Swanstage - I can offer up my "can follow a pattern/instructions and stich a straight line" services for you if you need them :)

they recommend not handling them for a couple weeks after moving them, to let them get used to the new surroundings. but any time after that you're more than welcome!
i'm getting a young one, i'd say they were around 14-15 inches long, and will grow to 36 - 60 inches.
