So today I'm sleepy *and* achy. Getting 4 hours of sleep after dancing in uncomfortable shoes all night doesn't make for a chipper Jodi. Still, I had a great time and can't wait to see all of the pictures. The http://www.501neg.com/ seemed to be trying pretty fiercely last night to recruit more people. It sounds like a lot of fun, but I don't know if I'd have the time to do it and I'm not sure who I'd be (that requirement to be an evil character and all).

I almost didn't dress up due to one of those silly female self conscious moments but I just sucked it up and went out in costume anyway. I can't believe that I was the only Amidala there (and can't believe that some people thought I was supposed to be Leia). I know the costume wasn't great though, shirt was totally wrong, shoes were totally wrong - I mean, my gun was in a cell phone holder hanging from a belt (both of which were the wrong color, a bit too dark).

I think tonight I want to crawl into a hole with my B and get lots of sleep but there's things to do like picking up new insulin and needles from the vet (to the tune of over $100), putting out trash, cleaning the cat's litterbox, making dinner, finishing laundry and homework (ick). I really want a vacation - I'm SO excited about next weekend (taking Friday and the following Monday off).

See the only thing with that is that whole evil thing (I don't tend to think of myself as a really evil person). That and the Amidala costume thing would be easier for me due to my hair an all :)

It was nice to see you out dancing and all. I think its been too long for both of us!

Yes, I enjoyed it, but today my voice is raw and coughing up ickies from the smoke ... nicer weather (hint hint weather gods) would help ...
