The saga of the car continues . . .
Jun. 20th, 2001 12:54 amB and I went car shopping tonight, I went with my gut and put some money down on a 2000 3-door Saturn Coupe: http://www.saturnbp.com/sc1/
Great price, extended bumper-to-bumper warranty up to 6 years/100K miles and its stripped down just like I like it (just the basics and AC). What can I say, since I've been a kid I've been encouraged to stick with domestic cars and old habits die hard :)
Its "light silver" with a purpleish tint (its so cute); B says that this car 'is me' (whatever that means). Though it isn't a 79' Monte Carlo (that one will need to wait until we own a home with a garage to store it in) it is nice.
So tomorrow the Contour goes into the mechanic for one last check (to make sure its OK to trade in) and then we bring it to Saturn in the evening after putting in the old factory stereo and taking out the nice one. I could have a new zippy car by the end of the week - wow!
