Its finally the end of one crazy week! I am so tired and just want to go home and nap after work (at the same time as wanting to get some errands done and go out and be social).

K and I went to the Cyclorama for The Artists All Soul's Project, a tribute from over 70 Boston area artists to those that died in the September 11 tragedy (you can find a review from Boston.com on http://boston.com/dailyglobe2/304/living/Sculptor_s_gates_frame_reflection_on_the_spiritual+.shtml ). I am very glad that we made it out to the South End to see it. It was very powerful to be around so many people, so many different energies and so many participatory activities (we made prayer flags, wrote on the walls and things with clay). There was a labyrinth in the middle paved with 'amber waves of grain'. It was surrounded by four different tent 'altars' and a small one in the middle with rose petals, candles, a bowl of water and some other personal items like photos and a folded up note.
I haven't done anything like this a long time - I'm glad that I got off my butt and away from the normal Thursday Netgoth Coffee to do it. K and I also had some time to talk about more personal things that we can only discuss when alone and when it is quiet. I am very lucky to have her as a friend.
After about an hour and 1/2 we headed back to Diesel to catch up with B and some of the Netgoths and their photo geeking. I finally got to talk with Nepenthe a bit (for a while we've only seen each other in passing) which was cool. We returned home later than I had planned and I was in bed around 12:45 (a bit difficult for me since I wake up between 6:30 or 7:00 each day and I like to try and get 8 hours of rest in). So I'm a bit sleepy this morning.

Tonight I think we're going to continue photography goodness and meet up with those Netgoths interested somewhere on Newbury Street. It will be a nice mild night to walk around, snap pictures and chat and end it all with some warm libations at a coffee shop.
I really like living in New England and close to Boston in particular :)

And yeah, I'm going to audition for the Regal Player's Christmas show on Monday night! I did it way back in 11th grade and had a lot of fun, I'm curious to see if I still have it in me. There are 11 performances (!) in the first two weekends of December . . . the show is actually a copy of http://www.radiocity.com/m2.html , I'll be auditioning for the Wooden Solider and Tap numbers - wish me a "Break a Leg" :)
And if I do get in you'll all have to come see me despite the ludicrous ticket price (they really do put on great shows, just ask Kazama who went with me to see "Anything Goes"). Here's the info: http://www.reagleplayers.org/index.htm .
