I've missed reading a bit (like, since on Friday) so if there is something you need me to know - tell me personally :)

It was a nice weekend! B and I met up with some of the Netgoths for walking around Boston and snapping pictures, you can see the fruits of his labors here: http://www.diabolis.net/~bunicula/photography/Photo_Excursion_-_11-01-2001/ .

On Saturday we did some early holiday shopping on Moody Street at http://www.constructiontoys.com/front_page.html (got some real old style Lincoln Logs for my nephew) and some gifts for friends at Thymely Scents in Cronin's Landing. We then headed over to the open studios at http://www.kindredarts.com/wmaa/ before moving on to an old friend's wedding.

It was a wonderful traditional Italian wedding! It started at her family's local church with a full mass and then the crew headed to the Post 440 in Newton for the reception. Everything was lovely and she was beautiful - I am so happy for them, they've been dating for 9 years! There were pictures from their childhood which I remembered all too well: her in dance costumes that I also shared, him with long feathered early 80's heavy metal hair, her with "the wall of bangs" sitting on a harley at age 16 at Hampton Beach and her and some of our other friends the year that they dressed up like Kiss for halloween. I was WAY too excited yelling to B "those were the t-shirts that we got at that concert"! It had all of the bells and whistles of the electric slide, $5 dance around the table to win the centerpiece, garter and bouquet toss and lots of family smiles. I thought it was sweet that in lieu of favors they made a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (J is a nurse and works with infants with CF).

J's mom invited us back to the house after the reception like she always does - we LIVED at J's house in high school and her mom was always bustling around giving rides, cooking meals and sewing dance costumes. B and I decided to head home and relax for the evening however after the whirlwind day so after giving the bride and groom a kiss and wishing them well on their honeymoon we jouneyed back to the Shaghaus :)

On Sunday we meet up with Bratling and A for a matinee double feature - "Monsters, Inc. " and "The One" followed by a late lunch and showing off the new bunny.

Whew!

Yesterday I went to the dentist for a cleaning, took Flopsy to the vet (he's got a hairball in his tummy again and wasn't eating that much), worked late to make up the time missed, ate dinner at work and then headed to the auditions for the Christmas show. I'll find out on Wednesday or Thursday if I got in but I think my chances are pretty good. I was the only non-High School student to audition! It reminded me of how most dance studios in the city are not as focused on tap as my teacher was (like, a lot of them had a difficult time doing a time step). The choreographer told us that we most likely won't need to buy any special shoes since they want silver taps with the costumes and they don't want people to have to spend the money on them so they'll have some we can borrow.

*breathe* so tonight after work and a treck out to Natick for an oil change (whew!) I'm going to relax, dammit!
