I passed in my 1st paper for the Monday class, the one on my alum interviewing experiences and materials. I could have done WAY better on it, it was so below my abilities (gotta love waiting to the almost-last minute). I guess a lot of people had problems with the thing so the professor told everyone we could pass it in, he could make comments and then he'd give us the opportunity to edit things.

My comments:
"Hi Jodi, First, I'd like to compliment you on your first paper. Excellent work!"

Okay, I always put more pressure on myself than needed. I think doing 2 courses at a time is totally doable given some more restraint with fun things and balancing time a bit better. I think I just make things out to be a bigger deal than they have to be.

And then I checked out the course schedule to see what's offered in the spring semester. I was going to take 1 class and then have more time for dancing. One course isn't too much fun, its required and only offered in the spring so that's the natural choice:

But this one looks really interesting too, and is related to the kind of work that I hope to be doing some day:

If I find a job before the spring I'm going to sign up for class(es). Now its just a matter to figure out what I want to do. What would be REALLY nice would be taking 2 on the same day. It just sucks that the class I need to take (Research Methods II) isn't offered before any others on that day. Grrr.

Okay, off to find breakfast and lounge around before doing some homework.

Its HALLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

For the September 11th tribute (the 1st one was in the gallery, the 2nd he just finished). I guess he's going to do a series of 11 of them.

The pictures don't do them justice, the colors look a bit weird and you can't quite get the details of them (but you get the general idea).

For those who have been to my house, he's the one that did the painting over the fireplace and the lion that's hanging on the wall in my craft room.

He went YEARS with not painting and then finally got back to it. This makes me very happy :)

(oh yeah Cannongirl, he still wants to work something out with you for photographing)
