Friday, finally
Feb. 21st, 2003 07:58 amEven though its been a short week (monday holiday, tuesday late to work due to snow) its been a long week. I'm glad Friday is finally here.
I've decided (again) to hold on the dance classes. I know I'll be crazy if I do it and I'm trying to be *less* crazy, not more. Its not the 2 hour time commitment for a class as much as the mental effort to remember routines (on top of the mental effort to do homework and remember things in school). For some reason it took me much more work to remember dance routines after spending 4 years in college as an undergrad; I wasn't able to put the effort into dance classes before I started grad school, so I don't see how I can do it while I'm in grad school and working full time.
I spent last evening with Fieryredhead dismantling her bed, helping her pack some small things and playing with the pup. I'm sad to see her go but also so very excited for the new life she'll have there. And I guess - it gives me another reason to visit Texas besides http://www.batcon.org/discover/congress.html .
Goffee was nice for the little time I was there - I'm glad to have a group of 'goffee friends' to chill with each week (amazing that this thing has kept up this iteration as long as it has).
This is going to be a crazy, busy weekend. Here's to hoping I can relax a bit this evening!
