Whee!

I caught up on LJ, its funny how little I see a computer over a weekend but damn do I like it!

I'm gonna rock and roll all night tonight, whee! I am so excited about this Kiss/Aerosmith show . . . what a great lineup!

B and I are almost done with DragonCon Costumes. I thought I was 99% done with my Amidala outfit when I found that the dying process worked too well on my skirt and chemise . . . they are too dark yellow. Also, the skirt got pretty damaged in the wash. I'm going to buy some Rit fade stuff (or Brian will today on his Fabric Place run during his lunch hour) for the shirt, but the skirt won't hold up to another washing. I have a white broomstick skirt that I'm just going to dye another more subdued yellow color, and I'll wear it over a petticoat . . . the outfit isn't really super authentic anyway.

We were out late last night, and will be out tonight so we'll have LOTS of stuff to do tomorrow night and Wednesday night before heading off for the airport on Thursday morning.

The weather this weekend was amazing and was feeling so much like fall. It will be in the 60's tonight. Whoot!

My asthma is still holding on, dammit! I swear, the cold gets some respite and then I go and do something nuts like not get enough sleep or stand outside for hours at a concert. Blah!

Have a great week all! :)

Courses

I start classes a week from tomorrow, I'm really excited to be done with most of the annoying requirements and now only need to take 2 "elective requirements" i.e. pick 2 courses out of a handful of core ones. After that I will need to do my Master's Paper (i.e. Thesis), independent study and perhaps only 1 or 2 more electives after that. Whoot!

After this semester I'll be 1/2 done with the program and will only need 6 more classes. The Master's Paper will take up 2 classes, the internship *could* take up 2 classes, so that will leave only 2 classes left. If I do the Master's paper this spring and do 2 classes somehow over the summer I think I can finish the program as originally planned by the end of 2004. This would make me SO happy!

Last night I was trying to tell a couple of people what courses I was taking. Unfortunately the program is one of those ones that is a little niche and is hard to sum up in 2 or 3 words. So here's the course descriptions for those interested:

One of the core "elective requirements"

An elective, I'm really happy about this one:
