I was 1/2 hour late for work today due to the dusting of snow that fell right before my 6:30 AM commute. Freaking out, I did the fast-walk thing from the 3rd floor of the parking garage down to the 1st floor hospital entrance and then up to the 3rd floor conference room that our meeting was in. This is the first meeting of the new year (we had lots of cancellations due to the holidays) and we had a lot of material to cover. Heh, I was the first one there!

We'll be at Ceremony tonight; its the first time since the last Star Wars Lan party. I'll be there with cherries on (new 50's-style Hot Topic dress that I picked up for $9 a couple of weeks ago). :)

I was very, very touched by this book. I think that anyone interested in class issues, anyone from a working-class background or anyone that grew up in NYC would really enjoy this book by Alfred Lubrano.
