Interesting

There is a sign on our lawn.
Our house comes up on Realtor.com, the Coldwell Banker Site, and our Realtor's website.
None of these sites list that the open house is on Sunday though.
It also wasn't listed in the Friday pull-out real estate section of the Metrowest news (the listing isn't in the Metrowest News either).

Here's hoping the Open House info is updated before Sunday. Maybe a lot of people just grab the Sunday paper, check for open houses, and go from there? We've been working with a buyer's agent so he's sent stuff our way when its come up - I know that this isn't the normal case for buyers (from what I can tell, most go about it on their own or the approach a seller's broker to show them houses).

He also just put up a listing for a house in Waltham that looks interesting. I know the electrical is old and the lot size is small. It also looks like its right next door to some business. The house is cute though. It says it only has 2 bedrooms (though, I'm not sure how that could be the case if its a 1700 sq foot house) - I e-mailed Ken for some information on it: here

On the channel 5 news last night, Framingham was noted as being #11 for towns in Massachusetts where you can get the "most bang for your buck". Here's a portion of the related article:

I guess Boston Magazine did a study comparing communities. There is a link on the website also that rates characteristics per community.

Wow!

There's a showing of our house scheduled for TOMORROW at 12:30 - even before the open house! That's a good sign at least :)

Waltham house

Ken said that "its a piece of junk" which was why he didn't tell us about it. He said that its small, the parking is difficult, and that there is a "difficult neighbor", whatever that means.

So that's why its *only* $300k.

The photo there is the one that they had blown up, poster size at her wake. She was probably in her early 60's the time it was taken (wasn't she fabulous?)!

I forgot to mention,

There are THREE showings scheduled to see our house BEFORE Sunday's open house. One tonight at 7:00 (I did super speed cleaning job to get ready), one tomorrow at noon, and one tomorrow at 4:00
