"Hi Weaner [one of Dad's nicknames from me, comes from "Jodeweaner", similarly I call him "Dadweaner" and he's started calling Tiggerette "Kristweaner"],

WOW....all that and it's ends with a nice peeing on by Max !!! He really knows how to get his point across, always did. We closed Blinky [my brother's cat, he's Max's age] in the bedroom the other day so we could eat and he pooped on the rug!!!

I remember when one time when poonsie [my first cat, died when I was around 9 years old] did something really stupid, I smacked him off the coffee table...he looked at me funny and stalked me for like 3 days. I was sitting reading and out of nowhere he leaps up, bites me on the arm, looses the look and
returned to normal. He remembered and got even.....and people say cat's are stupid.

All the house, and car stuff sound like a blast, you really know how to have fun!

Would be funny if an artist bought your house, could be even part of my spirit in it as well, hope he likes the painting, if not don't sell him the house.

As for Sunday, let's do a breakfast, can do as early as you like. *Sister* has no clue but not waiting for them to figure their day, hopefully we can have *Nephew* for an hour or so.

Have a good day....hey..idea...Why don't you move to
Waltham since your always here ??????

Love, Dad"

It wasn't the alternator after all, some part of the battery broke off and battery fluid was leaking all over the place under the hood, ouch. For the diagnosis (since originally they were checking out the alternator), replacement battery, labor and cleaning everything: $140

They noticed in the process of diagnosing the problem that my top engine mount is broken, thus the engine moves all over the place and makes a really loud noise and the car rumbles (hey, so *THAT'S* what that noise was) :) I thought the car just idled high or something. That is covered by the warranty and the charge is $125, but I have a $100 deductible (well, at least a portion of it is free).

Last, they'll do the originally scheduled 90,000 mile tune-up. I have a 10% off coupon for that, whoop-de-do. The charge is between $300-$350 (I can't remember now).

Tomorrow is going to be one expensive day. Its a good thing that I didn't have any bills due this week!

(And yes, I know fixing the car at a dealer is expensive. They do good work, wash and vacum my car at each visit, are priced fairly for most things (save for the super tune-ups), and while its under warranty I want to have work done there. When the warranty is up I'm going back to my super-cool old mechanic in Waltham, because hopefully I'll be living there by then)
