Whoot!

The DragonCon schedule is out, 1 week before we leave (whee)! I'm curious, is the Worldcon schedule out? I'm wondering how much its aligned to the Arisia experience.

Tonight we'll be doing photos in costumes and then heading to goffee if its not too late.

Last night's trip to the beach for Dad's birthday was fun. It was very cold, so we had a family puppy pile under the blankets. Gods is my nephew cute! I pointed up at the moon and said "that is no moooooooooooooon" and he replied "it is a space station". We proceeded to sing parts of it back and forth - his favorite seemed to be "and the rebels blew it up". Yeah, I don't think Brian is going to be able to get him over to the dark side . . .

Um, does anyone want to see the new Exorcist movie? We were thinking of going tomorrow night (probably out in Framingham ways).

Another step

Last week I paid my last tuition bill.
Today I filled out the tuition reimbursement request form (I'll probably only get around $600, but any bit helps).
I'll be socking $200 or so into my savings account so that I'll have money to buy books right after we get back from DragonCon.

I'm almost done getting my Master's Degree. Wow. I'm so proud of me for doing this, funding it, and doing *well* at it while I've been working full time. It seems like only yesterday I was here: http://dancer.livejournal.com/2001/09/11/
