I had a meeting this morning, got caught up on e-mail, and its almost lunchtime. Despite being sore from yesterday's parade we're going on our afternoon walk . . . its lovely out there!
On Saturday we hit the party in Wakefield - such a lovely house! Brian took a few pictures that I'm hoping I can post the link to later. Before we left we did some gothy makeup for my brother http://genotron.net/pictures/random_pics/halloween_103004/ (he grabbed the shirts, necklace and wings from me a while ago).
Yesterday was the Woburn Halloween Parade http://www.501neg.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=192 and the weather was perfect for it! Post parade we got food (Chinese) and passed out candy to kids on the porch (Brian dressed up in the Storm Trooper outfit - OK, so who is the 5 year old?). I can't believe how many kids we had, way more than in Framingham or at our old apartment. I actually ran out at around 7:00 to get more candy at Stop and Shop (which was pretty picked over). At around 8:00 we got bored of that and left the remaining candy on the porch for kids and settled down to watch Jason X. That movie is so awful its great (including the "lets drink beer, lets smoke pot, lets have premarital sex - we LOVE premarital sex" line).
I can't believe its November first! I'll put away some halloweenie stuff tonight, clean up a bit and put out the fall decorations. We'll be hosting Thanksgiving dinner, so that will be an adventure. I'm looking for good napkin rings that don't cost $3 a piece (I need 8 of them). Any suggestions? I've tried Bed Bath and Beyond and Target and aren't crazy about their selection.
Don't forget to get out and vote tomorrow! I need to check the polling times since I go to work so early, I don't know if they'll be open when I'm normally leaving the house. I head to school after work so I'll need to do it in the AM, meaning I may need to come into work a bit later than usual.
PS, want to see something cute? A wampa attack!: http://www.skaught.com/starwars/images/babywampa.jpg
