Another weekend gone by
Nov. 15th, 2004 08:11 amThey always go by so quickly! Yesterday was a fitting end to it though with getting some things done and spending some schmoopy time with the hubby.
I have new tires, we took pictures around the hood', finally saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and did lots of thinking about family and community: ( Read more... )
This time of the year always makes me very thoughtful of days gone by and of the future. I definitely miss the large family gatherings we used to have. I also miss the group of friends we used to hang around with (sometimes the Bickfords Crew, sometimes the "Breakfast Club" brunch group). I'm also liking the return to the local community. Its made me feel good to be able to patronize local businesses and make a connection to our city. Brian's really been sucked in (neener neener neener).
I feel like I'm at a crossroads in terms of building new traditions - it will be a nice adventure.
On that note I'm off to fill my large glass with water and get crankin' on work. I've got much to do this week!
