Poor kitty

Max wouldn't eat this morning. This means that I couldn't give him his insulin (or his blood sugar would drop too low). After showering and dressing I tried to coax him into eating, but no dice.

I feel bad - his body is going to be working overtime today as a result of the high blood sugar . . . I hope it doesn't totally screw him up.

My poor, old, kitty :/

I have a meeting at the Melrose campus from 12-1, then another from 1-2 (ish), and then I'm heading home, dammit!

Why? I'm missing my lunch hour for that noon meeting. I was here at 7:30 today. I seem to be the only person getting some work done (though, not getting a lot, its something), and by the time I got back to Malden I'd be leaving again in a 1/2 hour.

Tonight I'll get an oil change at 6:30 at the dealer in Natick and then we're heading for dinner and goffee. I'm bringing my knitting! D, I need some help! I think I got the hang of casting on, and get the gist of knitting (from my Stitch and Bitch book) but don't know if I'm pulling tightly or holding yarn in the right direction. :)

Also, I get paid today. I'm hopefully giving myself a wonderful Christmas present this week - paying off the Sears credit card! This will all depend on what other bills are due (I can't remember, but I don't think too many). From there we'll pay off Comp USA and close that out, and then chip away at the Chase. It will be nice to be able to focus more on this next year now that house buying and tuition paying are out of the way!

heh

My noon meeting was cancelled and there's no sense in going over just to meet with the person I was going to see at 1:00.

So I'm still at work - hopefully leaving at least one hour early (3).

Awesome!

I was able to pay off the Sears Balance. After that, Nstar Electric and my cell phone I'm left with $70 (should cover my oil change, gas and some kind of small emergency). If anything else comes up there's always a bit in the savings.

It feels good. The last time the Sears balance was at $0 was when we bought the Framingham house. Its going to stay that way (save for Fast Lane, which is attached to it) since the interest is so high, though I'll keep the card since its good for house emergencies.

Whoot!
