The studio

Brian commented that he thought it odd I didn't have any pictures of the studio. I actually only have 1 that I'm aware of, and its a pic of my friend Jaylee in the old waiting room (wearing a Motley Crue shirt - we were 14 and 15).

To remedy this, I took our little digital camera last night. I put some captions underneath them to explain what you're looking at:

I think my favorites are Main Street (something that I should frame - I love it), and for sentimental reasons the Christmas tree and the desk.

It was a great class, and fun to be back with the group again. A couple of teachers that left when I was in junior high have come back for lessons (they left initially because of drama I've mentioned before). I found another person in the class knows friends of Brian's from RHPS. Small world!

Its one of those days

that I can't bring myself to work. I have things to do, just nothing crucial. Our holiday luncheon (just my dept) is at 12:30 and I leave work at 4. This morning we exchanged small gifts (I forgot one of them - doh! At least she's here tomorrow).

So I'm reading old LJ posts of friends. Its amazing to remember those times and see how far people have come! Wow!

I'm really Jonesing for a viewing of White Christmas thanks to Jetgrrl! Though, I doubt Brian and Ashton will want to watch it with me tonight ;)

Either that or lunch is a totally different situation than dinner.

We went here http://www.boston.com/dining/restaurant/1112 and I was really disappointed. This is tough, because I'm not very picky when it comes to food. The menu was uninteresting (offering the same generic Italian food you'd see anywhere), the soup had no flavor, and the chicken masala (the most "exotic" thing on the menu) had no flavor above the wine. Blech! Even the after dinner 'mints' were disappointing . . . they were black licorice flavor (and while I like anise flavored cookies, I don't like black licorice).

Ah well. At least I didn't have to pay for it (2 of our doctors treated our group out of their pockets, very sweet of them).
