Neat!

I received an invitation yesterday to the Simmons Commencement in May. The college President will be retiring, and they are doing some huge dedication for him (ordering gowns for all attending alums too, apparently). The really cool thing, is that they've got Eve Ensler to be their keynote speaker.

Not that I want to go sit for hours inside of the Bayside Expo to hear her talk for 15 minutes and miss my ballet class that morning, but its still cool nonetheless! :)

In other news, this week's Ghosthunters show had the team going to the Worcester Palladium to investigate alleged paranormal activity. We saved the recording, if anyone else wants to see it. And in other other news, my co-worker lent me the VHS tape of "The Red Balloon" to watch over the weekend. I'm not sure if its out on DVD, but its been out on VHS (if anyone wants to seek it out). Alas, I need to return it next Monday - his wife was very nervous lending out their preschool aged son's favorite movie to someone!

Shop.starwars.com now has a setup where you can order custom shirts. Of course I bought a green babydoll tee with an AT-AT on it. It says "Sweet Ride" under the AT-AT on the front, and it has my TK id on the back (well, if you want to be technical, my TA id) :)

I'm hearing of breakups recently, sad. If you know of A) a person looking to rent a room in an apartment in Franklin or B) a 1 bedroom apartment near Boston, let me know.

We're seeing that dance movie tonight - the one based on Mad Hot Ballroom. It can't be all bad, right? I'm just curious to compare to the documentary more than anything . . .
