After thinking about costs and the smart thing to do, I won't be taking classes at BelaBody. It was so neat! The owner was so sweet and the space so new and the vibe so good! I wanted to hug it and love it and squeeze it and call it George!

The fact remains though that I'm already paying between $80 and $100 a month for dance classes (and costume costs are on top of that, when all is said and done probably nearing a few hundred dollars if you count in shoes, tights, etc). There are just better things I could spend the $10 per class at BelaBody on (like oh say, credit card debt, impending trips, the house, etc). $10 a class is a really good rate and I can definitely afford it (a raise in the early spring brought in more cash in that wasn't in my old budget). Still, its just too much for me to feel comfy with. $50+ per week for fitness? I'm just too practical for that.

I have a bike, rollerskates, dumbells, a selection of strength exercises neatly filed away in a binder (taken from Self Magazine), various workout dvds, a yoga mat, space, and an interesting neighborhood to walk in, so I need to get fitness on my own into my life. How can one get in the habit? I seem to go in waves. Once I work out a good weights/strength routine I'll be golden, because the cardio is the easy part. I'll keep chugging along!
