I can't believe its been 5 years. May we all remember the great loss caused on that day, and the strength that people can have to mobilize in the face of tragedy. We need it today more than ever.
It definitely feels like fall today! According to WBUR its going to get down to the 30s in some areas, and there is a frost warning in western MA. I'm glad I put the blanket on the bed last night.
Congratulations to Brigid and Plankton! Schmoopy weddings make me so happy, and it looked like it was a lovely day from your pictures. That makes another couple celebrating their union at Stonehurst - such a lovely place! I'm glad that everyone enjoyed it as much as it seemed they did at J and T's wedding, and at our own.
Brian's car is in the shop today, lets hope it isn't to expensive.
My beginner knitting project turned out not to be so beginner, since the yarn I have is a different gage than the pattern calls for. I tried to do some math last night and figure out how to alter the pattern accordingly and I'm stumped. I'll try again when my mind is in a better state of mind for it (with the help of Stitch and Bitch Nation) and if I can't figure it out I may call in the big guns - the lady that owns the local yarn shop for a different kind of yarn. The problem is this is for something for my Mom, and she's allergic to wool (which it seems what most yarn shops like to carry).
