I'm feeling better today. Despite issues with our refi, we should still be able to close on it Thursday (crosses fingers).
Brian downloaded Maiden's new "Matter of Life and Death" album from iTunes yesterday. There were reports that it was more Prog Rock than Maiden and boy were they right! I like it, but I also like Prog Rock. Its - weird.
Brian is trooping tonight on Southeastern MA for the SW DVD release, but I'll be staying home. I just haven't been so into costuming lately and my heart isn't in it. Most of my costumes need issues resolved, and I haven't been in the mood to resolve them. I'm going to get some things done around the house instead.
Regular dance classes start up on Saturday for the year, and I'm excited about it. I've been reading the forward of a tap dancing book http://www.amazon.com/Tapworks-Tap-Dictionary/dp/0871272474 and learning of the history of the form - very, very interesting. They credit it as an American form BUT heavily influenced by incoming immigrants, including slaves from Africa. I'll probably copy those pages and bring them into the studio for people to check out, since I think a lot of my peers would be interested.
I am really looking forward to the fall, and its keeping me going. That and friends, family and fuzzies. I'm quite fortunate in these things, and I need to remind myself when I get down.
