The first review of this movie has come out. It was completed in the fall and has been hitting film festivals (rumor has it, will be available on DVD at some point early this year). The movie is a documentary of the 501st, with some interesting angles (that are touched on in this review). We saw some bits of it at Dragoncon last summer and since then I've been dying to see it.

Pete got his first write-up for this particular project in the Herald - not too bad if the opener gets more of a mention than the two main bands!

In tribute, I'm listening to Kiss on my iPod now (The "Double Platinum" Best of). And God, its been a while since I've seen "Detroit Rock City"! I own it now on DVD though, so its easier to remedy. Anyone that saw the older flight attendant on "Snakes on a Plane" will recognize Jeremy's Mom in "Detroit Rock City". Such a good movie! :)

Welcome also to my newish LJ icon to reflect the 70's, rock or metal music, or high school memories! Its the manual for my first ever (and still to this day most favorite) car. Mine was dark blue and it didn't have a T-top (compared to the red one on the front of this manual) but it still kicked major amounts of ass.
