The other day we had floor and tub. Last night Brian and I screwed all night (heh) and now we have walls! The evening was not without a late night walk down to Lizzie's for hot fudge sundaes though. We fell into bed, exhasted at around 10:30 PM or so.
Due to some funky working around the window frame and doorways, we have some tile design thinking to do. We won't have a ton of time today, but we're hoping to return some things to Home Depot, buy some more things, do the first coat of plaster and get the floor tile down. It will have the rest of today and most of Sunday to set. Moving along! :)
Oh my, our special order tile came in yesterday and Brian picked it up. Its STUNNING! Its got gold and platinum in it - shiny! The photos just didn't do it justice. Wow. Not many can say they have gold and platinum on their bathroom walls. :)
Brian and I were going to go out for dinner on Wednesday to celebrate our anniversary (its actually Tuesday, but I have dance class and he's got kung fu). Dinner or a romatic night in the bathroom tiling? Only time will tell. The faster we do this the sooner we'll have a bathroom again. Hrm.
