Pet hair

I was talking to someone recently, who told me of this thing they use to remove pet hair from their furniture. Its a reusable thing, and works wonderfully. I can't remember who! Was it any of you? Mal's shedding is out of control - worse than any cat I've had. The peel-off, tape-like lint brushes work well, but I have to go through a lot of sheets to get it clear (and it just feels really wasteful).

EDIT: I remember what it was know - a rubber brush that works w/ static. I'm going to give it a try. :)

We bought some stuff and made some progress. There's still more to go, but its something:

We found the end tables at Xmas Tree Shop for $15 each. The blinds were super cheap from Wallmart - our windows are so wide that finding ones sized properly that weren't $40 each took us to Wallmark - we needed 8 blinds total. We even found a 3 tiki totem at Xmas Tree shop. There still needs to be something done to combat the blueness of that room, but its progress.

The pet hair brush is indeed the one Plaidsheep mentioned - we grabbed one at Linens and Things (in the laundry stuff section). Its AMAZING! I had so much fun using it, kind of like the sensation some get when they enjoy peeling dried glue off their hands (yes, I'm a weirdo).

We have to get up for trooping tomorrow at 7:00 AM, so it will be a night in, in our swanky den.
