Thank you so much for the birthday wishes!

Some sap from my Dad:

Hi Weaner,
Can it be possible, you are now 32 ???? When did all this happen ??? I guess that makes me 39 or something. As you 3 get older and develop your own lives it makes the early years seem like 100 years ago, I would love to go back and stay right there.

Tomorrow, Saturday we would follow our schedule:
I get up at 400AM and deliver 200 papers in Weston and home by 630am
Put the trash in the pinto
Go to McDonalds for breakfast with you and CD
Hit the dump and the "Drop & Swap" area on the way back. you go through every item like found treasure and can take one thing home, it's the coolest free thing ever.
We also have to drop something for others, a hard choice giving up your "stuff"
Next is your swimming lesson, you hold on to your instructor until she can't hardly breathe. The entire class is cheering you on. Cynthia & I voice support from the seats, I wave and smile at you and the teacher winks at me smiling. You can actually swim but won't let go just yet.
On the way back we go to the corner store for a candy bar.
CD looks over the 100's available, grabs one and waits.
You pick up a candy bar, go to the register and change your mind running back for another choice. This goes on for about 5 minutes (seems like hours)
The clerk knows you well by this ritual.
Although I have lot's to do on Saturdays I enjoy your little spectacle each time.
We go back and Mom pack's you both up for dancing.
I work on the house, the yard, and some artwork.
You come home, trample through my garden with CD and eat more vegetables then a herd of starving bunnies.
Supper we have hot dogs and beans or a bbq with simple food, maybe ice cream if we could afford it that week. After that we take a walk with poons lurking in the bushes protecting us from wild tigers and elephants.
Before bedtime we will read some, usually Sesame Street books.
CD goes to bed in a second and snoozes away.
You will be up 20 times until you sleepwalk.
As long as you don't pee in my briefcase it is another good day with my angels.

I imagine myself in my later years going from your house to CD's & EJ'S as the free 'Staff" renovator fixer up guy, catwatcher and babysitter in between marathon painting session in my lake house studio.
Those will be future great days with my little grown up angels
(as long as you don't pee in my briefcase)
Love Dad
