Yesterday, after ballet class and lunch we headed into Boston via Alewife on the train to the South End, for the open studios and market where Brian works. Some things of note:
http://www.galvinized-hats.com/ (lush hats and headbands, I almost bought one)
http://www.pvwdesigns.com/index2.html neat metal sculpture
http://www.gilsonslyceum.com/ selling herb plants and advertising a lush dinner of things Brian won't eat
http://www.bobbyfromboston.com/ is next door to Brian's office, and he had never stumbled in there before - very neat and some items surprisingly affordable for what they were
We walked from there to Chinatown (ooh, Winmill fabrics is still there, and I found some white sheer fabric for my Leia Senatorial for $2 a yard) and on to Downtown Crossing and continued to Faneuil Hall, where we saw some folks from Anonymous http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Chanology dancing to 80's tunes on City Hall Plaza. We sat and watched the show for a bit before heading over to the MGH stop and T-ed it back to Alewife. What a day and what exercise! After dinner we parked our very tired butts on the couch for some TV catchup.
I can't believe its Sunday night. It was a very chill day around the house and with friends out in Wellesley, the first social cookout of the season. Memorial Day next weekend, wow!
